notes ♡ junko's general appearance used to resemble that of her other self, ryoko otonashi, prior to ryoko otonashi's existence. therefore, her eyes and hair are both naturally red; she wears contacts and dyes her hair.
Section 01
looks ♡ Junko is well-regarded for her looks, an obvious trait of the Ultimate Gyaru. Though her height is relatively average, standing at 5'7", her build is not, sporting an accentuated hourglass figure. She has long, thick hair that she almost always keeps tied into two pigtails, and though her actual hair color is red, her hair's been bleached and dyed to a strawberry-blonde color, keeping up with it so often that many believe it's her natural color. Speaking of unnatural features, she also wears light blue eye contacts, with her natural color being red as well.Though Junko wears an array of clothing, almost always opting to switch things up, her most frequent outfit consists of a black cardigan paired with a white dress shirt, the sleeves of which she typically keeps rolled up to her mid-arm. Her top has been adjusted to reveal the top of her bra that appears to be black with red polka dots. Paired with this, she wears a plaid, red pleated miniskirt with platform heeled boots that have red laces and reach up her shins.Her accessories consist of a thin black choker and a red bow pinned onto her cardigan, with the most notably accessories being that of a half black, half white tie with a red prohibition sign on it that hangs loosely around her neck and her signature matching hair clips that represent Monokuma, with one being a completely normal white bear and the other being a black bear with jagged red eyes and a malicious grin. She also typically has long red nails.
mukuro ♡ mukuro is junko's twin sister, though with the way they look and act, you probably wouldn't come to that conclusion without being told. on the outside, junko appears to have little to no care for her sister and consistently looks down on her, often pushing her to prove her "worth" to her. she frequently mocks mukuro's interests and desires and actively pushes her away from trying to engage in such. she displays such little concern that she was even willing to kill her sister purely to set an example, proven by her numerous attempts of doing so prior. she is abusive to her sister in a number of ways, often physically assaulting her and even moreso putting her down at any chance given.however, possibly even more strange than her treatment towards her is her actual feelings towards her; it's heavily implied that junko truly does love mukuro and struggles deeply to show that, believing that would make her sister hopeful rather than fill her with despair. every nasty, cruel thing she has done to her sister is out of a twisted form of what junko considers "love", believing her attempts of trying to make mukuro feel despair are fully justified and for the well-being of her sister.yasuke ♡ yasuke and junko's relationship is quite peculiar. yasuke is one of the only people junko has shown genuine admiration for throughout her life, holding him in a higher regard compared to most. the two get along nicely, and though junko would proudly proclaim themselves as lovers, this sentiment isn't returned. though she truly appears to love him, her actions often say otherwise, as even despite this alleged adoration, she's still willing to use and manipulate him in order to achieve her own goals. he is consistently trying to save her from herself, a goal ultimately proven to be futile. in the end, junko took advantage of his feelings towards her and, in her act of killing him, proved that she is incapable of feeling as much love towards someone as she is despair.
Appearance
personality ♡ Junko is quite the actress, putting on a well put together act right from the jump. By most who know her, she is known as an eccentric, charismatic woman with a short temper and talkative tendencies, often coming across to others as carefree and slightly ditzy. She can be rather aggressive and often finds herself in some sort of trouble, whether it be with her peers, her friends, or frequently, authority figures. Because of this, she isn't too popular with her peers, but she manages to catch people's attentions regardless.In actuality, while Junko's actual personality isn't all too much different from her act, the extent of the change is still significant. Rather than getting into light scuffles or verbal arguments, Junko's true self proves to be a lot more dangerous and unpredictable than most would expect of her. She's apathetic and jaded to an abnormal degree, proving that she has very little concern for the world around her, but very little enjoyment in it either. It is because of this that she is drawn to the unpredictable, a desire that fueled her even deeper desire for despair.Junko's descent into despair has been characterized by her erratic tendencies, often choosing to change up her behavior and mannerisms before she gets too bored. Above anything else, Enoshima craves despair. She needs despair. Her certainty of despair being the absolute correct option forces her to often hurt others, whether it be through getting into their head, physically harming them, or even going so far as to kill people, all with little, if any, regard. This applies even to herself, as she finds joy regardless of whether or not her plans work; she either feels the despair of the tragedy she causes, or she gets to feel the despair of a loss. It's all the same to her.She is extremely unreasonable, being fueled by nothing but ultimate desire to feel true despair. Unfortunately for those around her, despite the unintelligent front she puts on, she's highly intelligent, cunning, and scarily analytical, often analyzing people from the get go and quickly deducing their intentions, behaviors, and overall nature. It is because of this that she can manipulate and deceive others with ease, often using this as a tactic to shift blame off of herself. She is not above lying or cheating when it comes to fulfilling her goals, though she prefers not to unless she feels it's necessary. Regardless of her intelligence and manipulative skillset, Junko is ultimately her own weakness; her dedication and willingness to hurt others or herself for the sake of despair often leads her to act recklessly and impulsively.
sampleJunko was sat in the back of the Monokuma Control Room, filing her nails as she listened to the others in the room talk. It was just her, Yasuke, and Mukuro, but for two people who weren't typically big talkers, they sure seemed to have a lot to say this time. Yasuke disagreed with her plan on several levels, though Mukuro relentlessly defended her ideas. Though it was fun for a minute, Junko very quickly grew bored of it and opted for fixing her nails instead, though it didn't take long for her to grow bored of that either, and within a few seconds, she threw the file at Mukuro."Hey! You guyssss... we don't have time for this! If we don't get this started soon, I'll do it by my goddamn self!"She let out a scoff, crossing her arms as she appeared to pout for just a moment. God, her tactics were endless... it was always something or another. As soon as she was sure she had their attention, she clasped her hands together with a grin."Mukuro, your ideas suck, as they always do. If you can't come up with anything good, don't fucking bother! As for you, Yasuke..."She tapped her chin for a moment."They're... fine. Anywaysss... I've got the Steering Committee on board with everything. I'm honestly surprised, you'd think they'd put up a little bit of a fight, but blackmail does wonders! They didn't even question it!"She snickered a bit, swinging her feet a bit where she sat as she did so. Then, without a second thought, she quickly sprung to her feet with excitement."More great news for us, that little girl got us those robots wayyy quicker than I thought. Which means..."She shuffled across the room towards the cameras, quickly turning the chair in front of them around. She grinned as she pulled off a sheet that sat on top of it, revealing what was underneath."Monokuma~! Oh, isn't he just the cutest?"She gushed excessively over the robotic bear, yet another display of her flair for the dramatic.
